This morning,
This morning I got up a little early and went walking. Not early enough to be alone on the road but I did still shower and do my hair. It was kinda nice, the air was cool and there was frost on the ground. Other than the school children waiting for the bus it really was peaceful. The sun rose in it's usual manner, slowly brightening the sky till it appeared above the Georgia horizon. It is peaceful, but not resplendent. None of the bright pinks and oranges of the coastal sky. It's seems that there is very little I can do without thinking of home. In the same terms, however, there is very little I can do in Georgia, and not be grateful to my Heavenly Father. As I walked I re-contemplated my move, my trials, and the career and personal decisions I have made in the last year. Amongst it all I see blessings. Blessings of strength, patience, understanding, action, humility, ingenuity, and courage. Behind these flow memories of my friends and family. All of these things are what make me who I am, and even in Georgia, I like me.
